Updates/analysis (most recent first)

Marlon Mack (11:40 a.m.): With Mack out, expect Jordan Wilkins to handle the backfield load for the Colts. Nyheim Hines could be a bit of a sleeper.

Ronald Jones (11:35 a.m.): Although he was listed as the No. 3 RB on the Tampa Bay depth chart, the rookie runner is a healthy scratch for today’s game. Peyton Barber and Jacquizz Rodgers were already expected to get most of the RB touches. Shaun Wilson would step in should either of that pair get hurt.

Kavon Frazier (11:17 a.m.): According to Cowboys beat writer Brandon George, the Dallas safety is expected to start today. He has been limited since his left shoulder was injured in the team’s third preseason game.

Sony Michel (9:05 a.m.): According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots are likely to be without Michel today, due to his knee injury. Expect Rex Burkhead, and to a lesser degree, Jeremy Hill, to get a big bump in fantasy value for Week 1 as a result.

Adam Schefter‘s overnight update (7:25 a.m.): Various sources tell Schefter that Will Fuller V will test his hamstring prior to kickoff before making a final decision on his status, but he is unlikely to play. It also appears DeVante Parker is not likely to play. On the positive side of the coin, both Greg Olsen and Josh Gordon appear to be “good to go.”

Official Sunday inactives should begin coming in at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the late games.
