Game Of the Year Nominees for 2017

As you all well know 2017 has been jammed packed with everything from new consoles, franchises and sequels. Truly an amazing time be a gamer, I know some of you may not agree with what we have handpicked but after careful consideration and hours of playing the games myself I’ve narrowed it down to a select group of amazing titles in no particular order!

Game Of The Year - National Hill

First on the list is a game development by StudioMDHR Entertainment Inc.  Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings. Not to be taken lightly the game itself is very challenging and rewarding  to the player.

 

Second isGame Of The Year - National Hill Destiny 2, made by well-known developer Bungie. Destiny 2 is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game. Bungie really outdid itself this time including a very amazing co-op shooter filled game, not to mention its rich storytelling in the campaign. If you’re a gamer after Highly driven social game with tons loot driven profession Destiny 2 is worth your time and money!

 

Game Of The Year - National Hill

Nintendo fans rejoice, as one of the fan favorites is included on this hard-hitting list.  The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. With its beautiful scenery and exhilarating open world game design/game play its hard not to consider this already amazing franchise as strong contender for game of the year!

Up next we have a PC exclusive and an instant hit in the gaming community. PLAYERUNKOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS a multiplayer online battle royale game developed by PUBG Corporation. What many of the similar games have failed to do (i.e DayZ. H1Z1, ARMA 2) developers over at PUBG  have boiled it down to a science. Making for endless hours of debauchery and some serious skill shots.

Game Of The Year - National Hill

Last on our list is for all gamer’s regardless of age, Super Mario Odyssey. Made by world-class developers over at Nintendo is a 3D platform video with tons of open world game play.  To keep it simple the game is rich in characters, interesting mechanics, and breath-taking animations. All this put together makes it a masterpiece for many generations to come.
