President Biden mocked former President Donald Trump after he tooted his own horn for winning two awards from his own golf club Sunday.
“Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment,” Mr. Biden posted on social media.
The post included a screenshot of Mr. Trump‘s post on Truth Social highlighting his wins at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!” the former president posted.
“A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting. The qualifying and match play was amazing. A large and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!” Mr. Trump posted.
Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are their respective parties’ presumptive presidential nominees, setting the stage for a repeat of the 2020 election.
A spokesperson for Mr. Trump’s campaign shot back at Mr. BIden‘s post.
“Crooked Joe Biden is jealous because anything he does physically is an embarrassment — whether it is falling off his bike, whiffing on golf balls, or just generally falling on his ass in front of the world,” the spokesperson told The Hill.
