If you’re craving a lobster roll, Panera Bread might not be the first restaurant to come to mind, but the chain is kicking off June with a Summer menu fit for all lobster-lovers.
Panera is already enticing with all of its fresh pastries and soup-filled bread bowls that make us feel like the woman in the logo caressing a baguette. But the restaurant’s new Summer menu might have just made this my new favorite lunchtime spot. Available in select Northeast cafes, Panera’s lobster roll is packed with fresh knuckle and claw meat tossed in a lemon and tarragon mayonnaise dressing — and my mouth is already watering.
Also available in the Northeast is a Summer version of a homemade classic: Lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese (topped with breadcrumbs!). The full seasonal menu, available nationwide through the end of Summer, also features a Summer Strawberry Caprese Salad and Frozen Cold Brew available in mocha or caramel.
