Donald Trump vows Cabinet changes coming after midterm elections

Reported by Washington Times:

President Trump said Monday that he’s likely to shake up his Cabinet after the midterm elections.

Administrations make changes usually after midterms, and probably we’ll be right in that category too,” Mr. Trump told reporters. “I think it’s very customary.”

Among the likeliest departures is Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The president said he expects to nominate a replacement for U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley by end of this week; he has called State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert a strong contender.

Asked about embattled Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, Mr. Trump said he would “take a look” at reports of ethics violations. But he said Mr. Zinke “has done a very good job.”

“For the most part, I love my Cabinet,” Mr. Trump said.
