Watch Google Unveil the Next Pixel Phone

Reported by WIRED:

After splashy product reveals from Apple and Amazon earlier this fall, it’s time for Google devices to shine. Google’s annual hardware showcase kicks off today, where it’s expected to unveil two new Pixel phones. Also expected to make an appearance: a set of smart speakers with a screen display, rumored to be called the Google Home Hub, and a Pixel tablet.

The “Made by Google” launch starts on Tuesday, October 8, at 8 AM Pacific (11 AM Eastern). The show takes place in New York City, but you don’t need to be there to score great seats. You can tune in on YouTube and, of course, follow along with our liveblog of the event.

How to Watch

The event will be broadcast live on YouTube from Google’s official Made by Google account. The livestream starts about 20 minutes before the event, and the whole thing should last about 90 minutes. Watch from anywhere you get your YouTube, be it a browser, smartphone, tablet, or smart TV. Google will also stream the event live on Twitter.

Whether you’re watching or not, you can get the play-by-play from our Google event liveblog. We’ll share all the news, along with analysis and some sassy commentary. You can also follow along on Twitter, where we’ll live-tweet from @gadgetlab and @wired. We’ll also follow up with an Instagram story @wired to show off the new hardware.

Can’t watch the event live? You can watch the video of the launch on YouTube after the event—and, of course, check back for updates here on Wired.com.
